The Peter Lynn Hornet is a 4-line powerkite that can be used for buggying, landboarding or simply just powerkiting fun. The Hornet is the latest addition to the Peter Lynn Kite Range. Peter Lynn's many years of kite building experience have made the Hornet the ultimate all round power-kite for anyone wanting to get into the sport with ease, whether power kiting, buggying, landboarding or snowkiting.
The Peter Lynn Hornet has got incredibly easy handling; it is a 4 line kite, but it responds very well to 2 line control movements. This allows you to get the hang of controlling a 4 line kite with pure fun right from start. The Peter Lynn Hornet also is a great fun kite for buggy riding and landboarding, as it has a very solid smooth pull and steers quick and easy.
Easy Handling: The Peter Lynn Hornet responds very precise to your input but is still really forgiving in flight. The kite steers easy with simple 2-line control movements so you can control your kite right from the start and take your time to learn the basic 4-line flying skills. This does not mean the kite is not challenging to fly, it will take quite a while to have mastered precise 4-line flying and get the maximum performasnce out of the kite.
Constant Power: The Hornet delivers a very smooth constant power. You don't need to steer the kite up and down to get power, the power builds up smoothly right after bringing down into the wind window. So you can keep the kite flying at the edge of the wind and concentrate on your buggying, kiteblading or landboarding skills. This makes the Hornet the perfect kite to make one's first steps with in any of the fun and challanging kite traction sports.
Stability: The Hornet is a very stable foil, so there's no need to be focused on your kite at all times to keep it flying. As the profile is designed for optimal stability, especially at the zenith and the edge of the wind window, you can concentrate on your buggying, kiteblading or landboarding skills. If you are after pure fun without the hassle this is the kite you need.
Constant Flying Speed: The Hornet has a very predictable flying behaviour and its flying and turning speed are predictable and constant throughout the wholes range of sizes. The kite does not accelerate all of a sudden, pull you out of your buggy or off your board. So you can stay easily in control at all times and concentrate on improving your skills.
